Welcome you to Singapore, host city of the 13th Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons Congress in 2012. This congress is held biennially and promotes the exchange of knowledge and goodwill in the advancement of endocrine surgery in Asia and the world. The theme of the congress is "Current Practice, New Directions."

We have an exciting line-up of invited speakers, a comprehensive scientific and educational program, research paper presentations, and social events over 3 days of the congress. There will also be pre-congress workshops and in keeping with tradition, the Yoshide Fujimoto Prize and John Farndon Award will be awarded to the best free paper and poster presentations, respectively.

We look forward to meeting you in the Congress and we hope that you will be enriched academically, socially, and in your relationships with colleagues new and old. We also hope that Singapore will offer you exciting sights and interests in our multicultural society.
